We are the heavyweight funk outfit Precinct 47.  We were borne out of the acid jazz explosion in the 90's and during that time, we toured extensively around the UK with our own brand of hard edged, groove fuelled urban funk in venues, festivals and parties across the land. 

 

We reformed In 2017 as a recording project with a mission to recapture our unique blend of uplifting vibes!

Our energy packed live shows have been described as 'a decadent stroll through funk and groove' and 'a fountain of funk' by Channel 4.

Fresh off a string of gigs and festivals this summer, we are in the process of bringing in 2025 with releases, merchandise, new connections and more live performances.
